Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Database Developer for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Identify business requirements
• Develop data models, perform data analysis, writes SQL queries, design and codes stored procedures and performance tuning existing database processes
• Design and develop database objects, stored procedures, views, functions, tables, triggers and SSIS packages
• Ensure their stability, reliability, and performance
• Write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention.
• Perform regular database management duties including backups and audits to ensure that SQL databases remain accessible, secure, and stable
• Test databases for performance, fine-tune when necessary
• Develop business rules that will be implemented in the services layer.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required qualifications:
• Degree: Bachelors
• Experience: 2-8 years’ experience in large migrations, migrating Data Warehouse from multiple locations in existing form
• PostgreSQL experience, AWS, Data Modeling, creating proper Data Models and ETL
• Desired qualification: Understanding of AWS environment, AWS Solution Architect-Associate, AWS Database Specialty Certification.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $139,700 – $225,060
