DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide day-to-day operational support for database products, such as ASE, Sybase replication, Sybase IQ, MongoDB, MarkLogic, etc. Provide support for database patching, upgrades and SR/DR failover activities. Coordinate global initiatives to solve critical technical problems within the team. Perform database maintenance and health checks. Coordinate changes and upgrades to computer databases. Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s degree in any STEM field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Database Manager, Sybase Database Administrator, Database Administrator, IT Consultant, System Administrator, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: SAP Sybase ASE; Replication and IQ; SAP Sybase License Server; Operating systems, including UNIX, Windows and AIX; and Security features, including Kerberos and password & role management..

Salary: $158,300.00-$190,000.00 per year.
