MINIMUM AGE: 18 years
HOURS OF WORK: Seasonal position
Working up to 40 hours per week during the golf season (April through October). The golf course is a 7-day, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. operation. The schedule for this position will vary and will include frequent weekends and holidays. Extended time off during this period is extremely limited.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This is routine unskilled laborer work. The employee performs a variety of tasks, which vary depending on assignment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Functions essential to attaining job objectives):
- Physically transports heavy objects for an extended period of time.
- Loads and unloads heavy objects for an extended period of time.
- Maintains grounds and landscaping, i.e., cutting grass and digging ditches.
- Maintains equipment, i.e., painting and cleaning.
- Works outdoors in extreme heat, rain or other unfavorable weather conditions.
- Follows verbal and written instruction.
- May perform any necessary cleaning duties at the course and clubhouse.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to operate a riding lawn mower and other grounds keeping equipment.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATION:
- Valid State of Michigan Driver’s License
PARTS AND WEIGHTS OF THE EXAMINATION:
Oral 100%
POST-EMPLOYMENT OFFER REQUIREMENTS:
Satisfactory completion of background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act but not those legalized under Michigan law.
