POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, operates the Deburr equipment of metal parts to print specifications. Performs required quality workmanship through the use of precision deburring equipment, uses drawing specifications and written instructions to perform tasks. Follows scheduled workflow assignments in order to meet customer demands and production control requirements. Works towards meeting established standards and performance requirements.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Deburrs metal parts to print specifications and established performance standards.

1. Performs quality workmanship through the use of drawing specifications and written instructions to perform tasks.

1. Able to read and interpret drawings, engineering prints and written instructions.

1. Follows scheduled workflow according to assigned priorities and communicates deviations to department lead.

1. Works toward increased performance and makes adjustments to equipment and set-ups as needed.

1. Insures that all materials are available prior to initiating production and communicates shortages to department lead.

1. Conforms to written instructions and procedures to achieve increased performance in production and quality workmanship.

1. Monitors equipment maintenance and adheres to safety regulations.

1. Performs other duties as assigned or necessitated by change or condition.

1. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

1. Other related duties as required.

• Employees will participate as required in understanding, implementing and maintaining the Company Quality Policy in accordance with AS-9100B and/or ISO-9001 requirements.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:

ITAR Requirement:

• Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) or a Foreign Person for whom a license is obtained.

Experience / Training / Education:

• Prefer High School Diploma, or equivalent GED with a minimum of one year experience using deburing equipment.
• Experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.
• Minimum two years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of tooling and set-ups with consistent quality results.
• Knowledge of quality standards and expectations to meet specifications.
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance and safety requirements.

Abilities:

• Ability to read prints and engineering drawings.
• Ability to read, work and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to perform cleaning on a variety of high strength materials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is primarily a position that requires employees to stand for 8 hours and use production type equipment. This position requires lifting parts up to 40 lbs. and the employee must often bend and reach to load materials on equipment. The employee also moves throughout the buildings to collect, deliver, and handle production parts.

The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. Pay Range: $17 to $21/hour
