Description of Duties:
The Delivery Team Lead Unified Communications Telephony supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
- Manage a suite of highly complex projects, from inception to completion.
- Manage a diverse team of engineers managing Unified Communications Collaborations systems.
- Confidently oversee project scope, schedule, and financial commitments supporting contract goals in collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule project deliverables using established Earned Value tool sets.
- Manage expectations, resolve issues and conflicts, and build mitigation plans.
- Author and deliver proposals, status reports, and executive level presentations.
The successful candidate will:
- Exhibit a cognitive ownership of their project deliverables and partner with matrixed resources to deliver results according to customer expectations.
- Have a mature proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project scheduling software.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal ‘teaming’ soft skills.
This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL
This position is expected to pay $137,900 – $147,900 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 16 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 14 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 10 years of general experience
- Must have 9 years of directly related experience.
- Must have 3 years of experience in management or leadership roles.
- Must have experience successfully driving projects to completion while integrating matrixed resources.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Requirements:
- Have a PMP Certification.
- Have an ITIL Certification.
- Have experience with Earned Value Management and Cost Account Manager (CAM).
- Have experience managing high dollar-value projects ranging in complexity.
- Have experience managing geographically separated project teams.
- Have experience managing projects in traditional waterfall and/or agile methodologies.
- Have knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Domain.
