JOB DETAILS
Base Pay $20.00 per hour
1st Shift Monday through Friday 6am – 2pm
Benefits start Day 1
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and review areas of opportunities to reduce backorders
- Continually monitor health of WIP stores, slit-width stores and recommending adjustment and preparation for seasonality
- Provide schedule for internal departments and external customers
- Specials-Calculate metal amounts needed to run order
- Perform audits on slit and trim sheet painted coils (multi-width)
- Slit WIP, painted and Gutter Coil inventories to be performed on a monthly basis
- Perform month end cycle counts
- Problem solve reasons for delays to internal customers and missed shipments for external customers
- Watch store levels of discontinued colors and metal specs. at end of the year
- Work with production departments to ensure daily orders are produced and complete
- Cross train as back up to perform fabrication analyst responsibilities
- Work with Gutter Coil and Fabrication Team Leaders to check daily manifesting
- Assist with matching current inventory with orders to help reduce backlog
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Excellent math skills
- Good process/project management skills
- Excellent product knowledge
- Mandatory Computer Skills – JDE, Microsoft Word, Excel, Excel Programming, PowerPoint, S&OP
- MRP interfacing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Scheduling and Planning experience
- Lean Management a plus but not required
