Job Description

Salary Range: $70k – $95k (depending on experience)

Location: Fully Remote

Citizant is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager to manage our HSPD-12 – Credentialing Program. If you are energetic, flexible, and committed to team members and customers, this position may be right for you.

The position is remote with limited travel to customer sites if needed with prior notice provided.

Job Duties include:

  • Manage staff of 50+ employees across specific regional US time zones utilizing Microsoft Teams, text, phone, and email.
  • Participate in hiring / retaining decisions of staff.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and annual progress reports and analysis.
  • Review and approve employee time reports, leave approvals, and work assignments working with the government personnel.
  • Monitor work assignments in the field and headquarters to ensure scheduled appointments are kept and standard reports are complete and submitted to the government timely and accurately. Provide analysis and observations on systems and processes to the government as required to improve and enhance operations.

Qualifications

Required Skillset:

  • Prior experience remotely managing large staff (3 years minimum)
  • 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience working with government customers in similar role. (Preferred)
  • Experience developing staff support and aligning staff with customer expectations.
  • Communication skills are required to coordinate with the government COR’s, territory managers, and government business site personnel.

Education/Certifications:

  • PMP Certification (preferred) or ability to obtain within 5 months after hiring.
  • Bachelor’s degree or commiserate experience

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active Public Trust or Eligible to obtain one.
