Responsibilities
As a Quality Control Manager, you will:
• Lead Quality Assurance and Control: Report directly to the Design Technology Services Director and focus on implementing and administering quality assurance and control protocols. Ensure compliance and governance in all DTS-related processes.
• Documentation: Update all internal DTS documentation to ensure consistent CED branding including training materials, standard manuals, and all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
• Comprehensive Protocol Implementation: Establish and oversee comprehensive quality control protocols, including SOPs and documentation, to maintain high standards.
• Monitoring and Enforcement: Monitor and enforce adherence to established quality standards, conducting regular audits to identify non-compliance and areas for improvement.
• Quality Inspections: Coordinate and conduct regular quality inspections of models and design reviews, engaging with stakeholders to enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify quality issues, deviations, errors, and develop corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with design teams to rectify errors and improve processes.
• Training and Development: Develop training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of the design team in quality control.
• Strategize and Communicate: Conduct meetings, document strategies, maintain notes, and follow up on action items. Provide support and troubleshoot problems related to quality control, compliance, and governance.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
• Experience: 5-10 years of expert knowledge in design technology applications in a production and support role.
• Technical Proficiency: Novice knowledge of production-related plug-ins and third-party programs, technical degree or equivalent, and working knowledge of data management solutions such as Vault, ACC, and ProjectWise.
• IT Skills: Novice knowledge of helpdesk support ticketing systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products.
• Team Player: Capability to provide support to various regions, disciplines, and staff levels. Must be creative, flexible, and an innovative team player.
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce results with limited guidance.
• Adaptability: Ability to leverage skills to learn, grow, and adapt to emerging quality control solutions.
• Responsibility: Willingness to assume increased responsibilities.
• Travel: Some travel to other offices within the United States may be required.
Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000 DOQ
