The Design Specialist II will support the day-to-day general function for design operations. Will provide home builders with the design for natural gas and electrical services to new and existing developments.
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.00

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support both natural gas and electric service design activities including but not limited to installing and disconnecting services for demolitions projects
- Provides superior customer service and knowledge by directing new and existing customers through all design phases
- Responsible for the preparation of all contractual documents required for utility designs, notifications, work orders, cost estimates and quotes for new business utility construction and demolitions
- Central point of contact for internal and external customers, developers, contractors and local utilities provider
- Travels to specific job sites for inspection and progress review
- Strong knowledge and ability to interpret and analyze drawings, diagrams and maps
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing data

Experience and Education:
- Two (2) years customer service experience is required
- Experience working with underground utilities is preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
- Possession of valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required.
- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
