Responsibilities

Design Studio Coordinator to supervise our in-house packaging production studio. In this integral role, you’ll lead the studio team in all production efforts, including managing packaging mechanical & printability process, packaging comp request, equipment & fleet, create timeline, track project status in all aspect, work with cross-functional in support of marketing, and brand initiatives. The position will collaborate and work alongside Design Directors, Design Managers, Designers, and Marketing Brand Leadership to achieve desired end results. The responsibilities of this position include:

Responsibilities

  • Manage and own the workflow and scheduling of all studio projects including managing in-house studio vendor, beauty comp vendors, equipment & fleet vendors to ensure completion of projects on time and on budget.
  • Mange packaging printability process, act as a liaison between Design and Graphic Commercialization team to pull color drawdowns, track status on color approval, manage printability timeline.
  • Lead communication of timelines, status updates and potential risks to project teams and leadership.
  • Lead and oversee all phases of production, including packaging mechanical development, color proofs, and printability process.
  • Excellent project management skills to manage workflows.
  • Assist in the efficiency and organization of the production team and workflow while maintaining quality of work.
  • Set up and lead packaging production process. Improve efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Exercise critical thinking in Processes Improvement & Workflow eg. improve efficiency; improve printability process & timeline, shorten packaging timeline, etc.
  • Ability to manage budget and input all projects in Monday.com and OneNote.
  • Assist in onboarding of appropriate marketing and cross-functional partners packaging process.
  • Manage studio budget and costs of vendors.
  • Vendor sourcing and budget negotiations.

Compensation and Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $61,700 – $103,250 based on a full-time schedule
• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% paid out Annually
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills and set priorities to meet the expectations of the Design Center.
  • High proficiency in software including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft OneNote.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Experience working with Monday.com is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership skills and strategic agility – ability to lead and motivate cross functional team to align with vision.
  • Appreciation for creative + production workflows and working with creative teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in planning and executing creative projects from start to finish, including the ability to handle heavy resourcing coordination.
  • Minimum experience in project management 2 – 4 years.
