- Strong understanding of design principles, UI components, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proficiency in Figma

What you’ll be working on
This is a short term project that will last no longer than one week
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Freelance Design System Specialist to create a comprehensive Design System Specification for their mobile app project. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating their existing design into a structured and organized document that outlines the visual language, design principles, spacing, colors, structure, and organization framework for their design assets. This document will serve as a reference guide for their development team as they implement the design into the app.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze their existing Figma design assets.
- Create a comprehensive Design System Specification based on the provided design, which includes:
- Defining the visual language and design principles.
- Establishing a color palette, typography, and iconography.
- Documenting UI components, patterns, and their variations.
- Outlining the spacing, layout, and grid systems.
- Organizing the design assets in a clear and structured manner.
- Collaborate with their design and development teams to ensure a smooth handover of the Design System Specification.
- Provide guidance and support to the development team during the implementation process as needed.
