About Commercial Real Estate (CRE):
Commercial Real Estate (CRE) sits within Investment Bank Fixed Income & Currencies. It provides the financing behind the real estate portfolios of public corporations, private equity groups and institutional investors. The debt originated by the team is distributed via commercial mortgage-backed securities, loan syndications, or held on balance sheet. The properties in question are diverse, ranging from hotels and office buildings to industrial premises and retail outlets, throughout North America. Consistently ranked at the top of global league tables, our CRE team is a leader in its field thanks to its global footprint, breadth of products, depth of capabilities and success in delivering the most complex transactions.
Commercial Real Estate Internship Program:
Join us and you will be an integral part of our team. Over 10 weeks you will experience what it’s like to work for our international bank. Starting with up to a week of classroom-based training, you’ll then complete two rotations within CRE and gain a wide range of practical experience. During your internship, you will also benefit from training courses, seminars and a variety of networking events
Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your role; you might be evaluating a client’s credit risk profile, performing property market research, modelling property cashflows, or preparing loan materials and reports. Your learning curve will be steep as you get involved in current deals and interact with various teams involved in the loan origination process, you’ll enjoy plenty of support from managers and mentors, along with unparalleled global exposure.
Successful interns will be invited to join the Deutsche Bank Graduate Program.

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training program will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.
