You Are:

We are in search of proficient Node developer who has excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. The person should have a technical aptitude to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the customer. Design overall architecture of the web application. Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications. Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features. Maintain code integrity and organization. Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements. Understanding and implementation of security and data protection. Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications. Knowledge of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}.

The Opportunity:

What you need:

  • Knowledge of Healthcare domain BA/BS degree or technical institute training or equivalent work experience
  • Strong effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 5 + years Experience creating, consuming and integrating with REST services using NodeJS with frameworks like express.js, next.js
  • Experience with relational and nosql Databases (mongodb, mysql, documentdb etc)
  • Experience with AWS serverless architecture – Lambda Functions, API Gateway, AppSync.
  • Experience using GraphQL Previous experience building scalable, distributed web applications
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Java Applets, Java Servlets, Java Beans.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented programming and design.
  • Knowledge of Web User Interface design.
  • Experience with Java Script is required.
  • Experience with UI development is required.
  • Experience consuming REST services and an understanding of Swagger specifications.
  • Experience with Java is an asset.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for Role

Remote: $55,000 – $83,000
