Technology is constantly changing and our adversaries are digitally exceeding law enforcement’s ability to keep pace. Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. The Government has trusted in Peraton to provide the technical ability, tools, and resources to bring criminals to justice. In response to this challenge, Peraton is seeking a Technical Support – DevOps Developer to be part of a Tier 3 support team that has experience to provide proven, industry leading capabilities to our customer.
What you’ll do…
You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and triaging trouble tickets for quick resolution of identified technical issues. Work closely with helpdesk and software development team members to resolve user and system issues in a large application used by thousands of people. Oversee software deployments and improve the Microsoft TFS CI/CD pipeline.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Triage, investigate and resolve technical problems using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and with other tools and applications
- Author and deploy data fixes
- Oversee and improve the existing software deployment process
- Compile and communicate daily status reports
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 10 years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.
- Comfortable authoring and executing SQL statements and powershell scripts
- Have some experience with CI/CD pipelines, Microsoft BI Cube, data warehouses, or reporting
- A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 – $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
