Position Overview:
Stanley is experiencing rapid growth in our Direct to Consumer (DTC)/eCommerce space. We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to shape and optimize our software development and deployment processes. We are in the early stages of implementing DevOps practices, and you will have the opportunity to build and lead our DevOps initiatives from the ground up. You will work closely with our development and IT teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our eCommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Shopify themes and application deployments in collaboration with various cross-functional teams.
- Develop and operate end-to-end automated solutions for IT ops activities (including deployment, release management, monitoring, etc.).
- Collaborate with Operations, Development, and QA to develop solutions that are scalable and simplify ongoing maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as well as outside agencies and consultants, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the organization.
- Provide input into the roadmaps of teams representing upstream dependencies to help improve the overall program of work.
- Continuously optimize the e-commerce platform to improve page load times, conversion rates, and customer experience.
- Establish and maintain lower environments for testing and staging purposes, ensuring alignment with production configurations and data.
- Provide fast and thoughtful issue resolution by executing quick fixes or proactively identifying and solving problems related to builds in production environments.
- Support system monitoring, performance tuning, and security best practices.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a technical contributor supporting cloud-based software systems.
- Proven experience in a DevOps role, ideally in an eCommerce environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitHub Actions. Able to clearly articulate advantages and disadvantages of each.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Shopify certifications (e.g., Shopify Partner, Shopify Plus, or similar) is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
