JOB SUMMARY:
This is a full-time exempt position. The Project Manager is responsible for Water Mitigation, Board Up, Tarp, and other Emergency Services projects. The primary responsibilities will be rapid response, project, process, and technician management. This is an on-call role that requires the PM to work in the field and in the office for customers in need of restoration services. Local Sales and Marketing efforts may be required in conjunction with daily duties.
Water Mitigation – These types of projects are for water damage restoration.
Board Up, Tarp, and other Emergency Services – These types of projects are for external and internal stabilization of damaged buildings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES PROJECT MANAGER:
Core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Primary responder to all new Water Mitigation jobs
• Responsible for initial assessment, moisture readings, damage documentation to include measurements, pictures, Itel samples, etc.
• Responsible for paperwork and initial communications with the effected party to capture the job and explain follow up mitigation and restoration services.
• Respond to or coordinate response to all board up, tarp, and stabilization jobs
• Responsible for timely uploads to appropriate job tracking systems.
• Track and monitor online control points (dates/times) via internal and external websites
• Responsible for providing supporting estimator with timely documentation, explanations, and communication to ensure accurate and timely estimate creation
• Responsible for deductibles, billing, and payments on completed work
• Scope new projects for estimating purposes
• Oversee Jenkins, carrier, and TPA processes, timelines, and expectations to ensure rapid response, timely job scope completion, and job payment.
• Oversee and monitor sub-contractor work and approve/deny contractor invoices
• Manage projects as needed due to volume and/or complexity
• Manage job file documentation, job profitability, and efficiencies.
• Manage Emergency Service warehouse, equipment, and supplies
• Schedule, coordinate, and oversee crews and resources to provide appropriate services on active jobs to include subcontractors
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training, of Emergency Service production team members
• Communicate with insurance adjusters and other decision makers as needed
• Coordinate with other internal lines of service to ensure a smooth and professional transition
• Coordinate new supply orders as needed for Emergency Services departments
• Conduct sales and marketing efforts in branch market to generate new leads and relationships
• Find and develop new sub-contractor relationships as necessary
• Any other duties or responsibilities assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise Emergency Service Technicians
• Hire and Train Emergency Service Technicians

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma Graduate or GED from an accredited institution. Two-year college or technical school preferred.
Must possess an active IICRC WRT certification and 3 years of mitigation/restoration field experience or, an active IICRC WRT certification plus any other single IICRC certification and 2 years of mitigation/restoration field experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Possess the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of the organization.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
REASONING ABILITY:
Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to visit project sites that have incurred catastrophic damage from fire, water, or storm damage. The job could call for accessing roofs, making necessary the ability to carry a 40′ ladder from the truck and set it up at the roof line of the associated property. The employee must be able to carry a minimum weight of 50 pounds for the purpose of getting material to a specific place on the project site.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
