Overview
NSG diesel mechanics complete inspection, maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, forklifts, wheel loaders, pickups, and other heavy-duty vehicles. As technicians, they keep track of important system components such as diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical systems, cooling systems, and steering systems. This position is a full-time hourly paid role and is eligible for relocation benefits. Candidate must be willing to take after-hour service calls on service truck. NSG requires diesel mechanics to have a minimum of three years of engine experience, a commercial driver’s license (CDL), and vocational certification in diesel automotive technology or equivalent experience.
Qualifications – DOT Applicants
- 1-year verifiable over-the-road, multi-state driving experience.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) must be held in the state of domicile/principal residence.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Current Medical Card
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Speak, read, write, and understand English
- Willing to work any shift and/or holiday(s)
- Minimum 23 years old
- Minimum driving experience of 50k miles
- Clean driving record
- No DWI/DUI within last seven years
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Nights/Weekends – On call for emergency services
Compensation: $25.00 – $45.00 DOE + OT after 40
