Digital Delivery BIM / Revit Professional

This role will support the engineering of systems for a variety of projects while working closely with clients, client reps, architects, and MEP engineers in creating designs for all kind of spaces including Critical Facilities, Corporate Interiors, Sports & Entertainment, Healthcare Facilities, Airports, Transportation throughout the country.

You’ll be responsible for researching and helping standardize building information modeling; BIM workflows organizing and communicating BIM technical information. Bring your stellar ability to relay these technology solutions to architecture, engineering, and construction professionals.

    • Have a BIM/AutoCAD background industry experience.
    • Utilize BIM software to provide layouts, general arrangements, profile views, and details while following Company quality and CAD/BIM standards.
    • Set up and produce drawings from models.
    • Create data rich Revit families.
    • Knowledge and application of company engineering design and BIM & CAD drafting standards
    • Follow the full design services schedule including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.
    • Perform necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers
    • Be familiar with installation detail design, layout and sheet presentation.
    • Assist BIM Coordinators in creating, updating and revising BIM Models throughtout the project life cycle
    • Utilize BlueBeam software for markup, collaboration and interactive review sessions
    • Gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, and schedule for assigned tasks.
    • Meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and work under pressure.
    • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
    • Provide input to and maintain Work Instructions and Procedures.
    • Aid engineers across various disciplines to find smart solutions throughout the design process.
    • Organize necessary engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers.
    • Exercise judgment in developing plans or alternatives and work with manager and team to assure quality.
    • Learn and understand workflow/information flow between disciplines, and navigate internal and external communications channels with clients
    • Comply with schedule constraints and information requirements to produce all work product deliverables.
    • Operate collaboration software (MS Teams, Webex, Zoom, GoToMeeting) to enable real-time team coordination and face-to-face virtual meetings
    • Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines such as Electrical, AV, Security Architectural and others to develop well-rounded, top quality designs.
    • Perform interdepartmental quality review checks for 2D/3D modelling and Mech/HVAC deliverables. Check and approve work produced by other Revit designers. Accept and learn from critical feedback.
    • Present and navigate models during design reviews and client meetings.
    • Commute to work in the office, or work independently from home with a fast and reliable internet connection.
    • You are expected to have relevant knowledge of codes and standards with Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

    The ideal candidate would in addition have many (but not necessarily all) of the following skills:

    • Excellent CAD, Revit (modelling families in Revit and other items), and BIM Modelling skills along with strong time management capabilities and the capacity to hit the ground running are additional key attributes that you will bring to this position
    • Minimum 4 years’ experience using Revit and AutoCAD
    • A proven track record of successful delivery of BIM on small, medium, and large projects.
    • Experienced in understanding tender documents, contract drawings and specifications.
    • Building Services experience.
    • Holding of a professional qualification/certification in design or design software is a plus
    • Be customer focused, a complex problem solver, and maintain a big picture / strategic mindset
    • Have situational adaptability and be self-motivated

    Ideally you’ll also have:

    • Experience with, and passionate about BIM, Lean, Collaboration and the building lifecycle
    • Knowledge of Design-Bid-Build, Design/Build, IPD and other modern contractual delivery methods
    • Understands project workflows from design, estimation, fabrication, construction documentation, administration, and coordination.
    • Knowledge of APIs and Design, Analysis, and Visual Programming tools like Dynamo, Grasshopper, etc.
    • Autodesk Certified Professional or CM-BIM Certified

The base salary range for this position is $20.00/hour to $47.55/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
