Jacobs is looking to add a Digital Delivery Lead to our team. This role requires you to manage and support a large hub office for all their design technology needs. You would be a part of our global DDL team where you will share ongoing work, innovations, and expertise. Work will be performed under the supervision of the office and regional manager, with close alignment with the market leads. This is a key role focused on managing large complex programs with stringent BIM and VDC requirements and with an emphasis on supporting the larger organizational need for innovation and process transformation.
We’ll Expect You To:
• Research and help standardize VDC/BIM workflows across our design practice as well as organizing and communicating BIM technical information from the Global team to support the local office.
• Relay these technology solutions to architecture, engineering, and construction professionals, including sales/client-facing presentations and meetings.
• Lead technology R&D activities and manage initiatives, including innovative technology implementations on projects.
• Identify appropriate resource needs, identify individual responsibilities, and develop department schedules to ensure successful implementation of Digital Delivery on projects.
• Delegate Digital Delivery staff in the office to fulfill project requirements and supply mentorship for career advancement.
• Develop collaborative project workflows and processes with project partners and Digital Delivery staff
• Maintain and develop Digital Delivery standardization processes, documenting best practices, and providing training sessions for the office.
• Challenge current BIM/VDC practices, guiding the resulting technology transformation.
• Act as a liaison with IT and project staff to ensure functional and efficient hardware and software setups for design staff.
• Work with local Design leaders and experienced BIM Designers in producing the project-based BIM Execution Plan and necessary BIM support hours for all projects in the office.
• Coordinate the application of BIM technologies at the project level per the BIM Execution Plan, ensures the BIM deliverable is clearly met and that all documents adhere to the internal and client specific goals and standards.
• Provide BIM production support for project teams; including BIM Execution Plan documentation, BIM project kick-off meetings, project model setup, clash detection setup, file exports and client deliverable coordination.
• Integrate with construction and review trade contractor models, shop drawings, reality capture data and adapting design models for construction purposes, as necessary.
• Identify, evaluate, and if possible, expand the efficiency of the software using API tools.

The base salary range for this position is $132,100 to $206,450. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
• At least 10 years’ experience with building information modeling.
• Working knowledge of AutoCad, Revit, 3D Modeling, Navisworks.
• Associates or Bachelors’ degree in Science, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience, preferred.
• Proficiency with general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and visualization software.
• Effective leadership skills: articulate, diplomatic, ethical, collaborative, and dedicated, with ability to motivate established professionals, external partners, and direct reports.
• Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple tasks and projects under constant deadlines, as well as anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Experience with, and passionate about BIM, Lean, Collaboration and the building lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Design-Bid-Build, Design/Build, IPD and other modern contractual delivery methods.
• Understands project workflows from design, estimation, fabrication, construction documentation, administration, and coordination.
• Knowledge of APIs and Design, Analysis, and Visual Programming tools like Dynamo, Grasshopper, etc. preferred.
• Knowledge of Revitzo, dRofus, Enscape, Rhino, energy modeling, 3D printing and other similar software and processes used in building design.
• Autodesk Certified Professional or CM-BIM Certified.
