Job Description
As Alpha Industries’ Junior Digital Designer, you will be a core member of our creative team, creating engaging and innovative digital content that reinforces our brand identity and drives customer engagement. Your work will span various digital channels including our website, social media platforms, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.
Position pay range: $55,000 – $60,000
This is a hybrid role, the position will work in office 2-3 days a week.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics and content, both static and animated, for various digital platforms such as website, email marketing, social media, and digital ads.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand project scope and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and the latest digital design software.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to ensure consistency in visuals across all digital touchpoints.
- Review and update existing digital content, ensuring it aligns with brand standards and current marketing strategies.
- Translate user experience and customer journey insights into design improvements.
- Monitor and measure the impact of projects, adjusting approach as necessary to improve performance.
- Continually stay abreast of digital design trends, applying relevant and effective elements to our digital platforms to ensure our brand remains contemporary and engaging.
- Help develop and execute video-based content to enhance brand storytelling, product promotions, and customer engagement on our digital platforms. This includes storyboarding, editing, and post-production.
- Leverage data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of design decisions and iterate upon them to improve user engagement and conversion.
- Have a strong understanding of fashion, lifestyle, art, culture, music, entertainment, streetwear, and street culture trends to produce fresh and relevant designs that resonate with our target audience and enhance our brand presence and visual aesthetic.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure design elements align with current and upcoming product lines and effectively highlight the unique aspects of our products.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to ideate and develop designs that blend popular culture with our brand identity.
Qualifications

- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Understanding of digital design principles and how it relates to brand strategy.
- A portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and ability to blend popular culture and digital design to create impactful design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to leverage video content to enhance brand storytelling and increase customer engagement.
- A strong interest in and understanding of current trends in fashion, lifestyle, art, culture, music, entertainment, streetwear, and street culture, with ability to translate popular culture trends into compelling, on-brand graphic designs.
- Demonstrable cultural competency and ability to design for a diverse, global consumer base.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in digital design, preferably within a similar industry. Streetwear space a plus.
