About The Role This Analyst role will report to SYL’s Principal Analyst and is a key position to accelerate data driven growth in our division. In this role, you will be an “internal consultant” and “growth navigator”, using performance data to identify trends and opportunities for account managers to take to market. With hundreds of retailers and thousands of influencers, there will always be daily data opportunities to recommend! In addition, this role will work alongside the Principal Analyst to make data-backed recommendations for new and larger strategic and operational initiatives. Responsibilities
- Communicating daily with account managers on historical performance and new opportunities
- Providing account managers with actionable recommendations to support account growth
- Using internal report tools and Tableau dashboards to identify changes in trends
- Becoming the SME for performance trends of our content creators and retail partners
- Creating and maintaining recurring reports to keep stakeholders up-to-date with performance
- Adapting reports or ad hoc reporting as needed to support new strategies or initiatives
- Supporting daily operational processes such as rate reviews and updates, CRM data organization, and report automation and distribution
- Supporting network quality initiatives, monitoring data trends for suspicious behaviors or poor-quality content
- Collaborating with the Principal Analyst on strategic data analysis projects
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years in an analyst role with a focus on delivering insights and making account recommendations
- 2-3 years of experience involving e-commerce or affiliate marketing
- Strong communication skills to educate and persuade stakeholders to take action
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, metrics-driven environment
- Strong SQL and Excel proficiency
- High data visualization and dashboarding proficiency (Tableau experience strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM datasets and structure (HubSpot knowledge preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree

The pay range for this position in Los Angeles is $75-$85K. The pay may vary depending on several factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
