Steeped in creating an inclusive culture where employees can realize their full potential this internal consultant role is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of belonging, inclusion, equity, and diversity (BI+ED) programming with measurable impact. Relying upon excellent command, execution, and advancement of contemporary Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) concepts and issues, this leader must be a change-agent.
Reporting to the VP of Organizational Effectiveness, within the People Team, working closely with the Engagement & Experience and Learning leaders, this collaborative role requires consulting with members of Assembly Global team while partnering with NA’s leadership, marketing, and corporate office services teams to bring relevant programs to life impacting the total employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Co-develop and execute the NA BI+ED strategy, measures, and annual programming to develop, enhance and influence programming designing and impacting the employee life cycle including attraction, retention, progression, succession, productivity, engagement, community, and engagement of all NA employees.
- Conduct an annual assessment, utilizing business results, forecast, and performance management, to develop and implement a standard measurable roadmap of BI+ED programs, initiatives, and calendars.
- Partner with the business and People team leaders to identify actions aimed at improving BI+ED, engagement and retention based on engagement survey results.
- Serve as an internal expert and consultant, advising leadership and stakeholders in developing programs and strategies to address concerns identified through company processes and current events having a direct or indirect effect on employees.
- Advisor, program manager and thought partner to Employee Resource Groups establishing guidelines, designing, and steering processes, creating metrics, overseeing budgets and programming, communication, and employee interaction.
- Research, design, and implement standard and relevant employee programs and toolkits related to BI+ED, new ways of working, engagement, and productivity.
- Co-develop with Engagement and Learning leaders on regional engagement surveys and assessments resulting in programs (workshops, speakers, and activities) that develop competency and build culture, community, purpose, and belonging.
- Develop DEI metrics, evaluation, and reporting processes/scorecards to analyze and communicate the impact and progress of BI+ED initiatives.
- Work consultatively with local office and department leadership (various states) to identify leads to support delivery of common intra-office BI+ED programs and experiences for scale across NA offices consistent with People Organizational Effectiveness
- Serve as organizational thought-partner, expert, and coach on establishing a positive inclusive culture.
- Budget management, tracking, and assessing.
- Partner on Global Impact initiatives for NA execution
Experience:
- Masters Degree preferred in, multiculturalism, intercultural communications, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Justice, Organizational Development (or similar) or Bachelors Degree required with 10+ more years of comparable experience
- Preferred experience in a high growth, evolving, fast-paced matrixed Advertising role.
- Expert analytical skills, advance use of Excel and other similar analytical tools.
- Established ability to serve as an internal resource and consultant, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders with different perspectives.
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience leading in the elements and dynamics of organizational change.
Skills:
- High-level ability to operate strategically using solid consultative, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills with strong ability to establish immediate credibility with senior leadership.
- Expertise to lead as an internal consultant through influence and relationship without direct authority.
- Knowledge of latest technology and resources to analyze, measure and report BI+ED.
- Proven business sense, hands on approach, and agility to drive measurable results and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic, complex, and at times ambiguous environment.
- Experience working with people analytics to identify and support the development of the Key Performance Indicators needed to drive learning, productivity, and the relation to other key people metrics such retention, engagement, and turnover.
- Excellent program and project management experience, planning and execution skills; problem solving orientation and follow-through.
- Strong capability to leverage data for quality insights and decision making. Knowledge of the latest methods to survey, analyze, manage, and deliver relevant data to influence programming.
- Large platform presentation design, development, delivery, and facilitation skills.
- Strong, effective communicator (written and verbal) to inform, persuade, and engage target audiences.
- Demonstrated competence in a distributed work culture.
- Exceptional collaborative nature and relationship skills.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $85,000 – $115,000 annually. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
