Responsibilities
Reporting to the SVP, Sponsorships at Hudson Yards, this position plays a critical role in the fulfillment of events at Hudson Yards – including HY owned and branded programs, events, marquee series, Hudson Yards employee events and select 3rd party events. This role will liaise between external and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution while maximizing revenue generation and net operating income.
- Support the Partnership, Events & Advertising sales team by managing and implanting the creative ideation of HY owned, branded and created events & programming
- Create, ideate, and execute HY owned, branded and creative events and programming to support relevant business goals
- Collaborate with and manage all internal departments to produce and execute events including stakeholder marketing, tenant marketing, CRM marketing, PR, social media, etc
- Working closely with the Commercial Office marketing team, execute a program of employee events for the Hudson Yards tenant population
- Update master event calendar communication plan, keeping stakeholders informed in regular cadence
- Serve as overall lead for HY owned, branded and created events at Hudson Yards
- Manage individual event budgets, as well as internal reporting and invoicing
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Research and negotiate appropriate 3rd party vendors for best in class execution and competitive pricing structures
- Liaise with Hudson Yards marketing team to support series of HY owned, branded and created events throughout the year
- Partner with operations counterparts to ensure seamless planning, execution, reporting, and reconciliation of all events at Hudson Yards
- Develop long-term relationships with external partners focused on the key pillars of art/music/culture/wellness
Compensation
- $125,000 – $160,000 / year
- Annual performance based bonus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or event management
- 7-10 years of experience in event management; agency experience a plus
- Demonstrated leader with experience working on a cross-functional team
- Strong business relationship building skills and passionate about client services
- Extremely detail oriented
- Experience managing complex budgets
- Expert time management and prioritization skills; strong ability to multitask, seamlessly executing multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of luxury retail, fashion and dining environment and mixed-use destinations
- Strong administrative skills including: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and CAD

Working Conditions
- This role is split between an office environment and onsite event management including non-traditional business hours. The ability and willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required is essential
- Travel may be required throughout tri-state area
- This role has a dotted line into the VP, Commercial Marketing
