The Director, Product Strategy and Operations will be responsible for creating and executing a governance framework to enable effective decision-making, strategic alignment, accountability and transparency across Walmart Marketplace product and partner teams, as well as leading and directing a team in support the governance processes. The Associate will be responsible for developing and continuously refining as needed the governance structure and processes that enable intake, review and approval/denial, trade-offs and prioritization, and portfolio reporting for each domain. In addition, the Associate will implement and may even lead governance forums, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged and decisions are made effectively and timely.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver and execute a governance model that looks across product prioritized with associated business value, product strategy, capabilities, and results in transparency, prioritization and alignment.
- Develop and manage product intake process across Walmart Marketplace, including Global seller experience working with US segment as well as international teams through the annual and quarterly planning cycles.
- Facilitate key governance meetings with all stakeholders to ensure initiatives are appropriately proposed, evaluated, decisioned, tracked and prioritized.
- Track delivery of marketplace product portfolio against annual commitments and provide updates on progress/deviations.
- Collaborate with Analytics and finance teams to ensure rigor in ROI analysis, process adoption, employing product planning best practices.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across Product, Business, Tech and Design to identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary process improvements to drive better outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$223,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
Minimum Qualifications…

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 5 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
