Overall Purpose and Objective

The IGT Director of Cloud Security is responsible for providing security-focused, technical leadership that governs IGT’s journey to the cloud. This position reports to the IGT Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This is a remote position. The work location can be anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Cloud Security controls that encompasses operational and governance aspects of the business
  • Provide guidance based on Information Security and Cloud Security best practices
  • Work alongside IGT’s Global Information Security Team, and collaboratively interface with IGT business and Operations teams to incorporate security into proposed cloud solutions
  • Identify security strategies to manage multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and accounts
  • Identify account segmentation based on operating environments, business units, partners, and data and resource classification requirements
  • Recommend identity federation strategies for IGT staff and mobile endpoints using enterprise, web, or third- party identity providers (“IdP”);
  • Identify Identity and Access Management (“IAM”) policies to secure roles, groups, users, and data security within the cloud environments
  • Identifying efficient and best practices in cloud resource usage and data flow management by recommending best-fit services and security architecture
  • Develop process and procedure documentation to manage data retention, resource lifecycles, and configuration management
  • Understand various network security topologies including Virtual Network, subnets, security groups, network ACLS, edge security, dedicated network connections and other VPN alternatives
  • Identify efficient logging and alerting procedures for cloud monitoring and incident response
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a technical major or equivalent experience, Master or higher degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience with Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) services and solutions, with focus on secure delivery.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, & prioritize multiple projects to ensure target dates & goals.
  • Exhibits professional and customer appropriate communications (excellent written and verbal communication skills).
  • Experience with Archer GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) is a plus
  • Team player and good organization skills.
  • Security certification(s) and/or member of various Information Security Organizations (i.e., SANS, ISC2, ISACA, EC Council, PCI SSC etc.) are a plus.
  • Other requirements:

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $93,800 – $240,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
