What You Will Be Doing:

We are recruiting for a Director, Conversion Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, and work within the marketing team and across the company to accomplish conversion objectives for both our B2B and B2C businesses. You will be working cross functionally and collaborating with the Product and Sales (Partner and Channel) teams by providing them with market insights and helping them educate the company and the community on our value. You will play a crucial role as a CrashPlan product evangelist within the community, supporting our partners in their efforts to do the same.

Day In The Life:

  • Product Evangelist – act as an advocate for the product through prospect or client meetings, content creation, speaking opportunities, and public relations as needed
  • Content Enablement for Marketing, Sales & Channel – work with internal team members and outside agencies to identify and create content needed at every stage of the buying cycle. This includes collaborating with the sales team on the sales nurture programs to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Analyst Relations – collaborate with the CMO and VP of Product to develop and execute an analyst relations strategy designed to ensure report coverage, elicit accurate referrals, gain market insights, and garner feedback for go-to-market and product strategies.
  • Market Research – study competitors and market conditions to provide information and analysis to the leadership team and for sales & marketing enablement.
  • Buying Cycle Analysis – gather qualitative feedback from the sales and marketing teams and review quantitative data from the sales and marketing operations teams to analyze the buying cycle for efficiency improvements.
  • Program and Project Management – lead team members and manage contracted service providers to meet objectives as well as manage projects across departments including playing a leadership role in go-to-market for new products and features.

Who You Are:
Required Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 1 + years of experience in a similar role/function
  • Demonstrated experience performing market research and analyst relations
  • Skilled storyteller with experience positioning technical products to technical users and business decision makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in media – blog posts, videos, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Ability to travel as opportunity/need requires – approximately 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment, including backup, recovery, cybersecurity, and/or related product space

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000/year. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance in addition to a full range of benefits. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and the candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.
