Position Summary…

What you’ll do… Creative Asset Development: Oversees creative process for complex projects/project portfolios, from development of creative brief through asset production and management, across internal cross-functional teams and external partners. Creative Brief Review: Leverages past marketing experience to influence creative briefs developed by Marketing Strategy and Planning, Customer Experience or E-Commerce Category Marketing. Tracks progress and knows status of entire portfolio of creative briefs (past, in development and future/planned). Brand Management: Oversees execution of visual branding and develops related assets across a variety of channels (e.g., website, print materials, digital campaigns, videos, training materials, packaging). Innovation and Strategy: Leads the development and execution of creative strategies aligned to customer experience. Drives continuous improvement and innovation by adopting industry trends. Project Management: Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple groups within business area. Develops and drives the strategic and operational plans for own group. Budgets and Financial Management: Provides strategic financial management recommendations for multiple groups in partnership with Market Operations. Collaboration: Collaborates with other Marketing groups (Advertising Marketing Strategy and Planning, Customer Experience, Digital, etc.) and stakeholders outside of Marketing (e.g., Category Management) to develop creative content that is consistent with marketing’s overall approach and vision. People Development: Builds and leads a team to execute on business area or category objectives. Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance. Ensures associates are receiving learning and development opportunities (e.g. training, mentoring) for the good of the associate and Walmart.Conducts performance and career development conversations. Mentors less experienced associates and managers. Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas. Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications…

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 7 years’ experience leading creative teams OR 9 years’ experience leading creative teams.
