Overview: We are seeking an experienced Program and Transformational leader to drive strategy, development, and management of the Data Foundation that is needed to develop some of the most advanced AI and Data Analytics capabilities across our portfolio of projects. As a Data Transformational leader, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and curating high-quality data to train and improve our AI models. The core mission of this role is to simplify and accelerate the data experience at Uniphore. At Uniphore as we continue to transform Generative, Emotional, and knowledge AI. We deliver capabilities to Enterprise customers who are trying to support their customers both locally and globally. To achieve this, we must be able to rapidly build and ship innovative experiences for our customers.

Within the Product management organization, our Data Product leader will maximize the value of data throughout Uniphore by improving the productivity and innovation of our product managers, engineers, data scientists, machine learning practitioners, and business users. Our Data Platform enables Uniphore to scale effectively and evolve rapidly by providing highly performant, secure, compliant, and flexible data infrastructure that supports the expanding needs of the business. Ultimately, we aim to democratize data by making data more accessible and useful to both technical and non-technical employees.

The key areas of focus are:

    • Understand data standards, global laws (GDPR, HIPPA, etc…), and industry guidelines
    • Quality and reliability of key business critical datasets
    • Ability to understand and iterate on AI and machine learning models based on your data knowledge
    • Ability to capture analytics efficiently and securely.
    • Systems and infrastructure supporting data at scale.
    • In each of these areas, it is this role’s responsibility to understand the related needs of the business and ultimately deliver the capabilities that will help us unlock the most value for our customers.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a data acquisition and curation strategy, including identifying data sources, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with data vendors.
    • Manage and balance customer needs, product analytics, and external industry innovation to drive vision and strategy for Data storage and analytics.
    • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to define data quality standards, data preprocessing requirements, and annotation guidelines.
    • Collaborate with product managers on the roadmap using the data and analytics to best inform product decisions and direction
    • Conduct regular data analysis to monitor the quality of the corpus, identify gaps, and track progress toward data-related KPIs.
    • Develop and maintain a data management system, including data storage, access controls, and version control.
    • Define and collect governance policies, strategies and security parameters with CISO
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is properly integrated into the product development process, including development, testing, and validation.
    • Work with the legal team to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and data usage policies.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data acquisition and management techniques, and leverage emerging technologies to optimize data workflows and improve data quality.
    • Interact and build relationships with external industry analysts.
    • Manage any vendors required for management, collection, or related activities around data

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as computer science or data science.
    • 10+ years of experience in data management or product management, with a track record of successfully managing and analyzing complex data projects.
    • MS or PhD in data or engineering field a plus
    • Strong technical background and experience working with data scientists and machine learning engineers.
    • Demonstrable understanding of data-related technologies at scale.
    • Expertise in data engineering, ML platforms, and data analytics.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive decisions.
    • Experience with analyst relations, customer sales, and public speaking.
    • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations and experience managing sensitive data.
    • Familiarity with data management tools and technologies Snowflake, data bricks, Amazon S3
    • Understanding high availability, low latency data stores (e.g. Object Storage, Key Value, Distributed Cache, NoSQL DBs, RDMS, Columnar Data Stores, and Graph Databases) that are used in our member experiences and content production software for our creatives.
    • Passion for data and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the industry.

What You Will Do:

    • Your mission is to simplify and accelerate data experience at Uniphore and offer best-in-class experiences to Uniphore and enterprise customer’s software engineers, data engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists, machine learning practitioners, and business users.
    • Examples of the types of opportunities you might tackle include developing data stores that enable business problems to be solved, managing more for users through higher levels of abstraction, and/or rethinking how we approach global data challenges like privacy, residency, replication, and more. The scope and impact of this role is significant. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of products and driving holistic product strategy and prioritization across them.
    • Deeply understand and triangulate across customer needs, product analytics, and external industry innovation to drive product vision and strategy for Data Platform offerings that maximize business and customer impact
    • Data Foundation is core to our Platform. Data Foundation is building a database to power best-in-world efficiency & yield and provide a unified foundation for all Datavant applications involved in the exchange of identified health data. Data Foundation aims to create the best quality and most comprehensive database in the industry on provider & physician relationships, contact information, how to connect to them, and more.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary hiring range for this position is:

California: $219,500 base + $253,300 target variable

Non- California: $183,000 base + $251,600 target variable

The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
