Director, Enterprise Architecture(remote)

You will work directly with application teams who are looking to take solutions to their business needs from concept to reality while moving to modern technologies. This role will draw upon all of your past experience to learn, teach and support teams of varying experience levels and unique needs while championing our technology vision.

The Director, Enterprise Architecture translates business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps; requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends products that will evolve the organization’s technical infrastructure. Provides leadership in developing the organization’s technical and architectural staff.
  • Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance.
  • Provides input into functions strategy.
  • Leads a team of architects who work with various application teams from strategy to solution to implementation of modern applications / cloud technologies.
  • Works directly with Segment IT stakeholders on technology strategy and implementation plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
  • 8 or more years of technical experience
  • 5 or more years of experience managing IT professionals
  • Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems
  • 10 or more years design, development, and testing of software applications
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Experience creating presentations and communicating directly with executive management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree

Remote/WAH requirements:

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25×10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$153,500 – $211,300 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
