At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we’re hiring enterprise strategists to guide our enterprise efforts and advise the largest companies’ executives on how they can transform the way they use technology to deliver business value. Our enterprise strategists combine their personal experiences building on AWS with learnings from other customers, to help enterprises understand and realize the business value they can unlock using the AWS platform. This role shares authentic peer-level experience with customers, extracts and articulates patterns to develop thought leadership, and develops strategies to help AWS support enterprise executives better. The team’s experience and thought leadership is shared through direct customer interactions and AWS channels such as the AWS Enterprise Strategy Blog (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/enterprise-strategy/) and AWS Executive Insights (https://aws.amazon.com/enterprise/executive-insights/).
Key job responsibilities
Ideal candidates will be able to speak to all aspects of business transformation in large organizations including leadership, change management, technology, operations, security, business case development, and budgeting. In particular they will be able to help enterprises understand and navigate to a future state of these processes to capitalize on the unique power of the cloud. Enterprise strategists are expected to author content such as blog posts, create executive presentations and other customer-facing content, deliver that content to customers both individually and at events with audiences ranging from dozens to thousands of people, and to ensure our customers and partners are successful building and transforming their business on AWS. Finally, enterprise strategists will work with our internal teams to refine our services, and commercial strategy for enterprises.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree; Masters/MBA degree preferred.
– 10+ years in a leadership/executive position.
– Executive role leading a large in-house digital, product, technology, or data-analytics (e.g. CDO, CPO, CAO, CIO, CTO).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations.
– Be mobile and travel to client locations as needed.
– Estimated 40-60% travel requirement.
– Pre-established credibility, contacts, and recognition in speaking engagements and technology publications is preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $197,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $350,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
