Primary Purpose: Reporting to the Chief Inclusion and Social Impact Officer, the Director, Global Equity, Inclusion and Diversity (EI&D) is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s EI&D strategy. This includes developing and executing programs and initiatives that attract, retain, and develop a diverse workforce; creating a more inclusive workplace culture; and promoting Equity, Inclusion and Diversity throughout the company’s business operations.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Equity, Inclusion and Diversity to…

  • Provide inspirational leadership and development for EI&D team members
  • Partner with the Chief Inclusion and Social Impact Officer for the annual development of the function budget and multi-year strategic plan
  • Directly manage the function budget, reporting and forecasting
  • Retrieve data from relevant internal systems and data sources for analysis, measurement and tracking of KPIs and metrics for internal and external reporting, media inquiries, RFP responses, benchmarking submissions for all levels of leadership and stakeholders
  • Grow and develop the global Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG) program to ensure win-win outcomes for associate experience and contribution to organizational outcomes
  • Identify, evaluate, oversee and cultivate key external partnerships and coalitions
  • Collaborate with and serve as a subject matter expert to corporate and brand centers of excellence to include, but not limited to Human Resources; Communications; Marketing; Product Development; Legal; Environmental, Social and Governance; Social Impact; Procurement; Finance; Information Technology, Digital; Supply Chain and Logistics

The accomplished individual will possess…

  • A B.A./B.S. degree in a related discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, EI&D, Multicultural Marketing or related field)
  • Ability to develop cross functional strategies and pivot from strategy to operational execution in a matrix environment
  • A deep passion for and direct experience in Equity, Inclusion & Diversity
  • Capability to foster relationships with external partners and organizations
  • Strong financial acumen with direct oversight of departmental level budgeting, tracking, reporting and forecasting
  • A proven track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multiple stakeholders, including senior level leadership
  • An inspirational leadership style, ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences, demonstrated ability to serve as a coach at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in meeting/event facilitation and public speaking
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to develop insights, telling stories, driving decisions and measuring impact
  • A high level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

An outstanding professional will have…

  • 5+ years of direct experience in EI&D or a related field such as Human Resources, Communications, Business to Consumer and Business to Business brands
  • Thorough understanding of global human resources and diversity principles, practices, and procedures
  • Multi-unit retail experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrix work environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • People systems reporting, analytics and data visualization
