The Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness team is hiring an Experienced Project Data Management Specialist to work out of our Everett, WA location.

This position is located within our records vault, managing certification records – both physical and digital, following up on requests to locate records, and supporting compliance to our records keeping processes as well as audits, both internal and those led by regulators.

Successful candidates in this role possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assessing, organizing, and archiving certification records, including the validation or creation of digital records in accordance with FAA regulations as well as Boeing processes and policies
  • Receives and responds to research requests for specific records
  • Defines, documents, and interprets requirements relevant to records certification management
  • Develops, documents, and implements plans and processes to ensure project records meet data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control
  • Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements
  • Trains or aids in training of certification engineers on the project record keeping processes
  • Supports the creation of metrics related to project records and research requests received

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with data/file management (e.g. ability to organize, sort, label, scan, and otherwise manipulate paper and electronic inspection records as required)
  • 1+ years of experience collecting data, developing metrics, and conducting trend analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience ):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with certification processes and Design Change Classification System (DCCS)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 year’s related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $85,000 – $115,000
