We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director of Business and Market Intelligence to join our Pershing, LLC – Global Strategy and Product Management team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive the vision, leadership, and strategic direction of the Business and Market Intelligence strategy for the enterprise
  • Partner with the business intelligence leads for each business/functional area to ensure their activities and outputs are aligned and integrated in order to effectively execute upon our overall business intelligence strategy
  • Collaborate with Pershing technology and transformation teams to develop an integrated process of sourcing, storing and extracting data and front end tools to support aggregating, analyzing, visualizing and sharing data.
  • Oversee primary market research activities and leverage market research vendors and third-party consultants whose insights will inform our strategy

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination
  • 10-15 years of total work experience in Business/Market Intelligence/Transformation
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, ad-hoc queries, business activity monitoring, data mining and predictive modeling
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities that include articulating a vision of future trends for analytics, developing a detailed roadmap for the realization of that vision, and managing the resources to the successful development and implementation. People leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to structure detailed analyses, and problem-solving aptitude using agile and design thinking techniques

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $122,000 and $266,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
