Grain Valley Schools is seeking a highly qualified and collaborative educational leader for the role of Director of Curriculum and Instruction. The Director of Curriculum and Instruction oversees the development, assessment, and support of the district’s curriculum and instructional program in accordance with state standards. The director supervises instructional coaches and the new teacher mentoring program and works closely with principals and teachers to ensure an effective instructional program.
Qualifications:
- Administrator certification preferred
- Master’s Degree required. Specialists or Doctoral Degree preferred
- 10 years experience including instructional leadership and/or building-level administration
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation, as well as professional staff development

Work Environment:
- Reports to Assistant Superintendent of Academic and Student Services
- 11 month position
- Salary – $90,000 base
