Our client, a rapid growth e-commerce company operating in the dynamic fashion industry, is actively searching for a versatile and results-driven Director of Digital Marketing. This pivotal role requires a professional with a proven track record of achieving substantial sales growth across various digital marketing channels, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram Reels, email marketing campaigns, in-person events such as Pop Up stores and booths, and strategic influencer partnerships. While prior experience within the fashion industry is highly preferred, exceptional candidates with a background in other renowned retail brands will also be considered.
Position Overview
As the Director of Digital Marketing, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer while maintaining a dotted line to the Founder/CEO. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, with a strong focus on email marketing, social media management, influencer marketing, and e-commerce optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute a robust email marketing strategy that enhances customer engagement.
- Implement compelling promotional campaigns to boost sales and app conversion rates.
- Drive product sales through targeted email marketing efforts.
- Social Media Management:
- Take charge of social media initiatives on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
- Craft and execute captivating content and campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Analyze and optimize social media performance to achieve tangible business outcomes.
- Influencer Marketing:
- Build and manage strategic influencer partnerships to elevate brand presence.
- Collaborate with influencers to create impactful content and drive sales through effective influencer collaborations.
- Monitor and measure the ROI of influencer marketing campaigns.
- E-commerce Expertise:
- Leverage e-commerce best practices to maximize online web and app sales.
- Implement strategies to improve conversion rates and enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously innovate and refine e-commerce operations.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and meet the requirements:
- 10+ years experience in digital marketing, with a track record of successfully driving sales and engagement across various channels.
- Familiarity with the fashion industry and a deep understanding of consumer behavior within this space (experience in retail brands is also valued).
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
