Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of DEI Programming to lead and drive our organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that promote a diverse, equitable, and making inclusive workplace. This role reports to the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

This role will pay a salary of $100,000 to $125,000.

Responsibilities

  1. Program Development: Operationalize and implement a comprehensive DEI programming strategy that aligns with our DE&I roadmap, creating a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
  2. Training and Workshops: Oversee, design, and deliver our DEI training program, workshops, and events for employees at all levels, aimed at raising awareness and educating on DEI topics.
  3. Leadership Development: Assist in designing and implementing leadership development programs that promote diversity in leadership roles, identify high-potential individuals, and prepare them for leadership positions.
  4. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and DE&I Council : Oversee and support OVG’s existing ERGs and our DE&I Council, creating a space for employees and leaders to connect, share experiences, and contribute to the organization’s DEI goals.
  5. Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Management to ensure that recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies are aligned with DEI objectives, focusing on reducing bias and increasing diversity.
  6. Policy and Compliance: Stay up-to-date on DE&I laws and regulations, ensuring the our policies and practices are in compliance and that employees are informed.
  7. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on DEI data, providing insights and recommendations for improvements in diversity and inclusion efforts.
  8. Community Engagement: Assist in establishing relationships with external organizations, educational institutions, and communities to promote DEI initiatives both within OVG and externally.
  9. Metrics and Reporting: Regularly report to VP of DE&I on the progress of DEI programming initiatives, using data to measure the effectiveness of these programs.

10. Business Development. Assist in completing RFPs for new business and present at tastings and venue management presentations.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and public relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performance teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
