What You’ll be Doing
Looking to bring best practices and guidance to ethics-based problems? You’ll lead our global ethics and compliance program, overseeing the strategic direction of the program. This includes the implementation of strategic programs, communication campaigns, awareness and compliance training, risk assessment and benchmarking tools, assessing trends, conducting sensitive investigations, and policies. Along the way you’ll partner with our executive leadership team for ongoing development of our Ethics Code, ensuring we are aligned with our values, goals, and comply with legal and ethical business standards.
Put differently, you’ll be our ethics promoter, caring about doing the right thing and knowing how to make others care about ethics, not only as a mandatory compliance program, but also as a marketplace differentiator.
You’ll report to the VP, Assistant General Counsel . You’ll contribute to the success of the business by guiding our Ethics and Compliance Program with your passion to work on complex ethic and compliance issues on a global scale.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Be the strategic partner for our C-level executive leadership team for process improvement, risk assessment and mitigation/compliance strategies
- Oversee our employee ethics hotline and case management system, ensuring it’s compliant with best practices in its usage of tools to achieve the right outcomes
- Lead ongoing review and updates to our code of conduct, assess the content against latest risks, and communicate our expectations back to our employees and partners
- Create trend reports on our ethics activity to the Chief Risk Officer and Chief People Officer, Executive Committee and the Audit Committee of the Board
- Partner with multiple departments to achieve related goals
- Human Capital: Lead sensitive investigations of violation allegations, analyze trends, and deliver proactive corrective action and awareness trainings
- Learning and Development: Develop our ethic and compliance values and messaging, training content, and promote awareness of the Ethics Code for employees, suppliers, senior executives, and financial officers
- Legal: enforce anti-corruption, gifts, entertainment, and data privacy policies
- Mergers and Acquisition: Support in integrating newly acquired businesses to our ethics and compliance programs with due diligence
- Operations, Finance, and Risk: Conduct proactive risk assessments to plan and make recommendations in your annual audit plan
What You Bring to the Role
- 5+ years of experience providing strategic advice and counsel on ethics programs, management, compliance, and investigating confidential allegations of misconduct
- Background guiding company leaders towards making smart ethical decisions
- Stay up to date with the relevant ethics and compliance laws, best practices, trends, and management
- Computer experience working with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel for trendspotting and PowerPoint for presentations)
- Work in a global organization with clients and employees from different backgrounds and cultures residing in many time zones
- Read between the lines to translate “why we should to this” into “how we should do this” to support those around you
- Be discrete and reserve judgment until all facts are in

The anticipated range is $130,000 to $145,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
