340B Account Manager – Remote

Overview

Maxor is currently seeking an experienced 340B Account Manager to join a dynamic 340B Operations team. The 340B Account Manager responsible for providing support to Maxor 340B, 340B qualified healthcare providers (covered entities) and contract pharmacies. In this position, the 340B Account Manager will be responsible for helping to ensure 340B program integrity is maintained on behalf of Covered Entities by providing day to day operational support of Maxor owned products and systems including but not limited to analyzing and troubleshooting data, ongoing examination of accumulations, supporting split billing crosswalk maintenance, providing contract pharmacy operational and implementation support, and other duties as required.

Successful Candidate Profile:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the 340B drug discount program, including 3+ years’ experience in an in-house or retail pharmacy setting with strong awareness of pharmacy operations, pharmacy supply chain and hospital operations.
  • Understanding of pharmacy purchasing practices, pharmacy billing practices, integration of pharmacy software, 340B software implementation, 340B rules & regulations, and pharmacy software systems.
  • In-depth understanding of contract pharmacy and split billing program administration with experience in an account management, implementation, or operational support role for a 340B program.
  • Ability to work effectively in both a backend and or client-facing role.
  • Proven ability to analyze issues/problems and anticipate challenges to provide timely solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Discipline to work independently, with drive to deliver high quality work to ensure clients receive considerable value from Maxor 340B services.

Position Location

This is a remote-based position where you may work from your home office.

Responsibilities

  1. Serves as subject matter expert, providing best practices, regulatory updates and training to clients to ensure smooth onboarding & adoption of Maxor 340B solutions; including identifying additional areas of opportunity for clients to benefit from Maxor 340B services. Effectively connects enhancements to communications, tools, capabilities, and product lines.
  2. Supports clients in the monitoring of utilization records, inventory and 340B and non 340B purchasing accounts to ensure that software or tools are working properly and accurately, helps to support clients troubleshoot and maintain accuracy of client portal instance, including CDM/crosswalk for new products/NDCS and product changes to ensure accuracy of the utilization report as well as the efficiency and accuracy of the charging process.
  3. Contributes to follow up activities to drive value and customer satisfaction through solution development with appropriate internal Maxor 340B resources, including contract management, pricing increases and renewals, data analytics and solution ticket monitoring.
  4. Responsible for leveraging knowledge, recommendations, and resources to resolve issues, implement improvements, ensure consistency and compliance for 340B Maxor clients. Proactively promotes knowledge-sharing and recommendations to resolve issues, optimize improvements and ensure consistency.
  5. Serves on various work groups, implementation teams, or other committees to improve the success of Maxor 340B. Acts as a liaison with necessary internal personnel and departments to ensure Maxor 340B systems reflects 340B program integrity, where appropriate, validates internal processes.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 3+ years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
