Responsibilities:
- Establish and directs the company’s strategic and tactical goals for IT including network infrastructure, software implementation, telecommunications, mobile technologies and technical support.
- Align technology strategies with corporate goals to support business objectives and ensure consistency of IT services.
- Prioritize, manage and deliver IT initiatives. Report progress on initiatives to company executives and leadership team.
- Analyze complex business needs of the department. Identify, assess and recommend technologies to optimize business performance and leverage solutions across business units.
- Plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of IT staff to accomplish corporate initiatives and strategies.
- Responsible for capital budget development and IT expense oversight and management.
- Provide direct leadership and management to IT team members to ensure that Service Level Agreements for key IT services are met. Develop metrics and provide ongoing status reports to senior management.
- Ensure that the corporate network and computer hardware operate at maximum efficiency, is properly maintained, backed up and adheres to established procedures that minimize unscheduled downtime.
- Establish and maintain vendor relations.
- Consultant to Application Support Teams, Engineering and Administration Teams, and our Member Owners.
- Identify and resolve customer service issues.
- Ensure processes and SOP’s are consistent across departments; are documented and communicated.
- Responsible for performance reviews of assigned team as well as recommendations regarding salary, promotions, hiring and separation.
- Ensure appropriate skills and staffing levels are maintained to deliver required services.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or Business preferred.
- Minimum 7 years in IT with 3 years in an IT management role required.
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) preferred.
- Experience leading the technology operations function at a corporate level, including successfully establishing and executing technology strategies that deliver business results.
- Broad technical knowledge including: LAN/WAN networking concepts, wireless systems, security, software implementation and upgrades, telecom, mobile technologies, etc.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor technical personnel in a team environment.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
