Description

The Director of Operations will ensure the efficient and effective provision of all services in the relevant service area. He/she will direct and supervise the overall and day-to-day operations in the relevant service area in accordance with relevant COMAR regulations and agency policies in programs operated by Unified Community Connections.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • In a manner consistent with supporting Unified Community Connections’ Mission Statement, the Director of Operations must: Ensure the assigned Individuals safety and well-being at all times by protecting them from harm, injury or other distress.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise all administrative and professional staff in the designated service area.
  • Assure that all programs are operated in accordance with the agency’s mission and from a person-centered perspective including recreation, personal enrichment, and involvement in the community.
  • Maintain regular contact with service coordination, other stakeholders, and other potential referral sources in order to promote a positive view of Unified Community Connections as a preferred provider of services to people with disabilities.
  • Assure that Residential Directors and Day Program Directors recruit, train, and supervise their staff efficiently and effectively.

Full-Time Position Primary schedule Monday thru Friday and occasionally “on-call” as needed.

Paid Training MANDT, CPR/FA, BBP, and more.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services is preferred.
  • Experience will be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
  • Three (3) to six (6) years in a Residential or Personal Support Services environment
  • Three (3) to six (6) years of experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

You will need the following to be considered for hire:

  • Valid Driver’s License with 2 points or less
  • Ability to lift 50+ Lbs.
