Job Summary: Coordinate nutrition program for all sports; develop and implement evidence based nutrition education program for all student-athletes, in-service nutrition education for all coaching staffs, liaison with on-campus dining facilities, and work with director of speed, strength and conditioning and director of sports medicine. Manage all aspects of the nutrition fueling station. Inventory and order all products offered. Monitor allocated funding and the financial impact to the division; hire, educate, and schedule student workers for the fueling station.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate: $50,000 – $55,000 annually
Required Qualifications: 1. Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Exercise Physiology or related field conferred prior to start date (transcripts required – may be unofficial) 2. Strong communication skills 3.Demonstrated commitment to a high degree of integrity and adherence to the University, NCAA, and Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Two (2) years’ of collegiate experience. 2. Ability to motivate intercollegiate athletes. 3. First Aid CPR Qualified 4. Board Certified Specialist in Sport Dietetics (CSSD), member of College and Professional Sports Dietitians Associate and /or member of Academic of Nutrition and Dietetics certified specialist in sports dietetics preferred.
Work Hours: Core work hours- Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. plus all events/activities as dictated by the athletic department schedule. Morning, Evening, weekend, and holiday work is frequently required.
Functional Expectations: Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: 1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods 2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work 3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
