Director, Partnership Marketing

Overview & Responsibilities:

As part of the Global Marketing Partnerships team, this Director role will be responsible for procuring US and multi-regional marketing partnerships for Paramount Pictures’ theatrical releases!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define promotional strategies and identify targeted brand lists for key theatrical releases.
  • Manage the presentation of film slate and partnership opportunities to brands and agencies.
  • Negotiate and secure promotional programs that deliver significant above-the-line and earned media results.
  • Partner with legal to lead contract negotiations for promotional partnerships/sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with our in-house creative team to develop custom materials for partner pitches, internal marketing updates, filmmaker meetings, presentations, etc.
  • Identify potential cross-promotional opportunities with other marketing teams (e.g. publicity, field promotions, events, digital, etc.), where applicable.
  • Facilitate category, partner, agency research as directed.
  • Compile information for product placement team, as well as third party production resources groups, for potential film integration considerations, where applicable.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, product, or brand management at a studio, brand, or agency. Entertainment-specific experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat Pro, and Keynote.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to navigate numerous partners while maintaining bandwidth to lead all aspects of exciting projects at various stages and recommend creative solutions where needed.
  • Able and willing to travel, as needed to partner meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Encouraging teammate with an optimistic outlook, who is self-motivated and possesses phenomenal attention to detail.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $110,400.00 – 123,500.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
