Position Overview: As Director, Product Management – Partnership Management, you will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing product partnerships that enhance the success of our products and drive mutual growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, product development, marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure the seamless integration of partner offerings and the achievement of shared business goals. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders and leaders to identify risks, build consensus and explain difficult information. This role requires a combination of strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our products, competitors and the partner landscape.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to the Product Leadership Team and peers as well as functional partners (e.g., HR, Legal, Finance, Sales, Product), and working together, you will identify, develop, and drive long-term strategies based on fact-based analyses, competitive and market dynamics, focusing both on growth and operational improvement opportunities. You will serve as a TriNet Product ambassador to our clients, internal partners, and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new partnership opportunities that align with market demands, industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs.
  • Evaluate potential partners based on their alignment with our Product Roadmap and business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape that could impact our current products and partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Product team to understand the strategic and technical aspects of our solutions and identify opportunities for integration with partner solutions.
  • Initiate and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders internally and at partner organizations.
  • Coordinate the integration process, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience across platforms.
  • Regularly engage with partners to provide updates on product enhancements, new features, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing team to support key events and messaging.
  • Monitor partner performance and collaborate with internal teams to optimize the partnership’s value.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in partner management, business development, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and technology trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the PEO and/or HCM SaaS market is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $129,700 to $255,600. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
