About the role
We’re looking for an experienced leader to build and oversee a team focused on delivering innovative solutions that further Walmart’s reputation as the most trusted eommerce marketplace for both sellers and customers. This leader will have direct responsibility for defining & executing program plans for the global Performance & Risk domains. This position will establish & nurture deep cross functional partnerships that connect complimentary efforts across the organization to enable the launch of scalable systems and services that allow us to meet our mutual objectives while maintaining a focus on efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
Cross-functional collaboration:
Bring together different departments or functional areas across the organization to drive collaboration & alignment on how to achieve common goals most effectively. Develop processes to support these outcomes and improve decision-making, problem solving & innovation between teams.
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Technical Acumen
Deep understanding of customer and architectural requirements relevant for all products within the domain.
Process improvement
Develop & leverage data driven insights to continuously examine & optimize business processes, workflows & tools for both internal & external users with the goal of increasing efficiency, reducing cost, or improving the customer & seller experience.
Strategic problem solving:
Be a thought leader in the space, bringing a systematic approach to solving complex business problems where no single ‘right’ answer exists. Ability to clearly define, analyze and propose multiple solutions that solve for the underlying objective while clearly articulating expected impacts & tradeoffs is of critical importance.
Talent development:
Identify, cultivate, and recruit/retain top talent to the organization. Maintain uncompromising standards for associate performance, develop the succession planning as well as bench strength to unlock and produce the next generation of business and thought leaders for Walmart.
Team alignment:
Establish clear goals, objectives & success measures to support the short and long-term business strategy. Leverage the cross functional relationships you develop to create and communicate a cohesive, shared understanding across all relevant teams and leaders. Develop forums to regularly evaluate progress & prioritization based on changing business needs.
About the Marketplace Seller Performance Team

When it comes to making a purchase from the Walmart Marketplace, we manage all aspects of the pre & post purchase customer experience. Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of project and program experience in software development technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving technical initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and technical excellence within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Track record in developing and launching services, translating customer needs into business requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in the technology space.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical solutions that balance technical excellence with business needs.
- Sound business judgement and the ability to influence others.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$223,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Legal, or related field and 5 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR 7 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
4 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
4 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.
