This new role will focus on driving new and existing solutions across the portfolio and, specific integrated systems at the applications level and vertical markets, especially banking and financial services, Fed/Gov and healthcare. The leader of this area will collaborate across sales, technical pre-sales, global services, product management and essential marketing GTM groups to develop strategies, define and market differentiated solutions aligned to the different tiers of buyers in the enterprise. Fundamentally value led data solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
The portfolio and verticals solutions director will lead the cross-functional teams in defining the vision for go-to-market, collaborate with direct and channel teams to increase product adoption, and evangelize the solutions through digital and social channels. As a solution marketer, you will work closely with product management, sales, demand gen, analyst relations, and alliances and partner management to develop and execute the marketing plans campaign and deliver on KPIs. You will be playing a strategic role as the go-to expert for the cross product portfolio solutions in key categories of Hybrid Cloud, Universal Data Management, Data Resiliency and compliance, Sustainability and growth verticals including but not limited to Banking and Financial Services messaging driving enablement, content, and competitive GTM execution to raise the awareness, consideration, preference and sales execution to revenue
What You Bring To The Team (Qualifications)
Develop marketing strategy, programs for targeted solutions and verticals. for in collaboration with cross-functional leadership teams to support the business objective.
Identify target personas, their pain points and develop the value proposition for products and business solutions, lead positioning strategy for the key segments.
Partner with the demand-gen and programs teams to guide and contributed to global online and off-line campaigns.
Engage with product management and engineering organizations to help refine roadmaps and prioritize resource deployments that bolster messaging
Create core assets including presentations, solution briefs, checklists, sales briefs, and web content to drive awareness and accelerate the funnel. Engage with technology alliance partners such as VMware, Intel, NVIDIA to develop co-branded collaterals.
Be the spokesperson for solutions and brief leading IT analysts and press including Gartner, IDC, Forrester as a subject matter expert on major updates strategic solution initiatives.
Lead planning and delivery of sales enablement sessions for Hitachi, partner, and alliance partner’s global sales and pre-sales teams on product updates, competitive research, sales campaigns, and initiatives
Lead GTM competitive insights and analysis to drive strategic direction and pipeline acceleration
Drive thought leadership and share updates and best practices via vehicles such as webinars, blogs, and social media and more.
Proven track record of leading solutions GTM with creative zeal and business impact
Go-getter attitude to drive business through cross-functional teams across direct and indirect channels
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile to deliver on KPIs
Be strategic in goal-setting and senior management engagements while tactical in executing the charter
Demonstrate excellent content development and presentation skills to inspire action
Strong analytics skills and data-driven approach for evidence-based messaging
Technical or related engineering degree. MBA desired
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is:
Tier One Location (including New York City and California Bay Area): $161,000 -$$230,000
Tier Two Location (including Colorado, Seattle, and the rest of California): $140,000 – $200,000
Tier Three Location (including the rest of Washington State): $116,000 – $165,000
The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
