Overview
This position reports to the Executive Chef. Position is responsible for the cleanliness of small wares, utensils, all kitchen equipment, all flatware and glassware used by Food and Beverage Department as well as floor cleanliness and trash removal. Some basic food prep experience is encouraged.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $20.00 to $22.00.

Responsibilities
- Not limited to:
- The washing and sanitizing of all flatware and glassware and china.
- The washing and sanitizing of all kitchen utensils, supplies and equipment.
- The washing, sanitizing and proper storage of all carts, racks, hot boxes and garbage cans.
- Organize and re-stock all china, small wares, utensils, kitchen supplies and equipment. Place all equipment in the proper and designated storage areas in the kitchen and downstairs FF&E.
- Responsible for the set up and monitoring of scullery stations during and after events.
- Maintains direct communication with kitchen staff, advising of inventory levels, breakage and proper operation of equipment.
- Properly disposes of trash, compost and recyclables in kitchen and service areas.
- Keep work area & floors free of spills, excess water and food debris. Sweep and mop kitchen and service areas at the end of the shift.
- Follow proper guidelines for the safe and sanitary operation of the dish machine.
- Maintains safety, sanitation and health code standards.
Qualifications

- Must have current food handlers permit, or the ability to get one upon hire.
- One (1) years’ experience as a dishwasher in a high-volume kitchen setting preferred.
- Be able to fulfill the physical requirements listed below.
