Position: Distinguished Product Manager

Job Location: 680 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Define product vision and strategy for the Walmart commerce platform (end-to-end technology stack) by partnering with the business stakeholders and build an efficient enterprise product. Serve as a primary liaison for the platform product engineering team by identifying user and business requirements and translate them into technical requirements to build a unified software platform that can support the U.S. and international markets. Contribute to the product lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases. Monitor end-to-end technical product solution to build a high quality, resilient, reliable, and scalable commerce platform for Walmart. Build and define best practices for platform product organization and identify key metrics for the success of the organization. Identify and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for platform product and build control points to monitor and address issues of compliance. Own the communication and cross-functional relationships with various product, business, and technology teams and management. This position does not supervise other employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related area and 11 years of experience in product management; OR Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related area and 9 years of experience in product management.

Skills required: Experience driving product strategy and roadmap for building and launching technical products in web, native, and middleware platforms. Experience building product requirements specifications and product backlog and user stories in Jira. Experience with client server architecture and mobile systems architecture in Native Mobile and Web platform technologies including Java, Springboot, Node/React.js, C, C++, XCode, Swift, VS Code, and Monorepo. Experience with platform CICD and source code management in Jenkins, Github, and Artifactory. Experience leading End-to-End product solution through its life cycle, including business and data analysis, systems integration, design and architecture, software development, implementation, migration, testing/debugging, and high-level documentation. Experience with DataModel and DataFlow diagrams utilizing one of the following service oriented architecture and middleware technologies: GraphQL, IBM MQ, Appian, or TIBCO. Experience with oAuth, Multi factor, step up, and token-based authentication models to support various third-party authentication and authorization needs in Graphql and Restful platforms. Experience creating information architecture and content management strategy for building product organization in Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint. Experience building, coaching, mentoring, influencing, and empowering a team to improve results. Experience with data driven product analysis and product engineering methodologies to define and monitor platform metrics and dashboards using any of the following platform tools: Splunk, New Relic, Android, or iOS Firebase Crashlytics. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this full-time position is $283,442/year to $288,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
