The Opportunity
As the Diversity Recruiting Program Lead, you will lead the diversity recruiting strategy implementation, which includes launching pilot programs, managing the selection process for diversity recruiting programs and sourcing candidates for roles across Abt. You will have a blend of recruiting and program management responsibilities in executing Abt’s diverse recruiting strategy to attract world class talent that represents the communities we work with. You will partner with business and HR leaders to design and implement recruiting strategies in support of business plans, Abt’s employee value proposition and diversity recruiting. You will contribute to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) and Human Resources’ strategic objectives and partnership goals. Success in this role is measured by implementation of the diversity recruiting strategy, execution of key programs, and cultivation of a diverse talent pipeline.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and launch a diversity recruiting program focused on retaining early talent, hiring mid-career talent, and converting interns into full-time employees.
- Lead efforts that result in the attraction and recruitment of a global diverse talent pool.
- Monitor and report on practical and measurable goals, strategies, and metrics and outcomes.
- Support and continually evolve the execution of the EDIA Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy and work closely with Talent Acquisition Teams, EDIA team, and Recruitment Marketing.
- Create and deliver training opportunities for TA to expand their EDIA knowledge and practices and improve the overall cultural competence within the organization.
- Co-manage Abt’s internship program (Abternship) to drive a robust diverse entry level pipeline into the Abt. Explore opportunities to convert interns into full-time employees.
- Partner with business units on related diverse talent accelerators.
- Initiate innovative ways to attract early talent to our organization through enhancing local college campus, high school events, recruiting outreach through various organizations and social media platforms, and partnering with our internal Talent Acquisition team to develop diverse candidate pipelines
- Serve as a brand ambassador by representing Abt at external diversity networking events, campus job fairs, on social media and through sourcing events, as necessary.
- Build and lead strategic partnerships with Historically Black Colleges & Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions and Minority Serving Institutions, university career centers, faculty, student groups, professional organizations, and other groups that may help to execute early career recruiting and engagement events and build an early career talent pipeline
- Project manage external diversity organization fairs and conferences
- Collaborate with the internal Talent Acquisition team on current and future job openings to provide support in a variety of areas within the recruiting process like building pipelines, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
What We Value
- Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong business acumen and experience preparing executive-level presentations and briefings.
- Proven experience in equity, diversity, equity, inclusion recruitment experience.
- Understanding of privilege, power, marginalization, and oppression and how they manifest personally, interpersonally, structurally, and institutionally.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and sensitively written materials and presentations.
- Proven experience in EDIA training and coaching.
- Strong ability to lead, plan, manage, and implement change.
- Flexibility, creativity, and an eagerness to problem solve and collaborative with other team members.
- Proven experience working independently and driving results
- Ability to multitask while handling shifting priorities.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $80,000 to $115,000, and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
