Aerospace Drafter- Drafting Engineer

Contract Position
$35.00-$65.00/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Design concepts received from staff into CAD models and drawings.
- Update CAD models and drawings needing for revision, from engineering staff.
- Create assembly instructions with technical input from engineering staff.
- Translate Design concepts into formats compatible with 3D printers.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Drafting from technical school or Recognized Drafting certificate.
- 3-10 years’ experience as a design drafter.
- Previous knowledge of drawing programs, 3D modeling tools, specifically CREO.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to take direction from Various Team Members/Engineers.
- Knowledge of PLM systems, specifically Windchill.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and develop creative solutions.
- GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5-2009 a Plus.
- Local interoffice travel expected (25 miles one-way).
