About the KIPP Forward Team
KIPP Philadelphia is committed to supporting its students and alumni to and through college. Students earn alumni status once they have completed 8th grade at a KIPP middle school or graduated from a KIPP high school. The KIPP Forward team provides essential resources to all KIPP students and alumni as they make the transition from middle school to high school, as they prepare for and enter college and while they pursue their college degrees.
Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director of KIPP Forward, the Dual Enrollment Program Manager (DEPM) is responsible for carrying out the vision and goals of KIPP Philadelphia’s dual enrollment strategy to increase the number of students successfully graduating KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy with stackable college credit. It is our aim that every KIPPster graduates KIPP DuBois with a clearly defined education-to-career pathway and having completed a variety of hands-on learning experiences that support their aspirations. The DEPM will accomplish this by providing high quality college readiness opportunities to high school students at KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy through wholesale management of our dual enrollment program, designing and managing programming for a subset of 7th and 8th grade students across the region to bolster our dual enrollment pipeline, maintaining data fidelity and commitment to state standards, and broadly supporting students on their pathway to post-high school success. This position is designed to predominantly provide active, in-person support to schools, with a home-base in the KIPP Forward office, which is housed within KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy; opportunities to work flexibly from a home office will be available at varying points throughout the year. This position is grant-funded for the 2023-2024 school year with strong potential for longer-term funding.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high quality dual enrollment pipeline programming opportunities for targeted grades 7th- 12th:
- Assist 9th – 12th grade students as they apply to credit bearing and non-credit bearing college related opportunities during the school year and in the summer months
- Work across schools to design and provide targeted in-school and after-school programming to pre-identified 7th – 8th graders as part of dual enrollment pipeline and KIPP DuBois recruitment efforts.
- Manage all facets of dual enrollment program including: communicating with points of contact at partner institutions, student recruitment, selection and matching efforts, student professional development, outcomes reporting and on-site troubleshooting • Communicate schoolwide updates – including information about events and opportunities in bi-weekly all-staff communications and directly to students and families.
- Partner with Director of College Counseling and college facing points of contact to support successful enrollment and course completion of KIPP Dubois dual enrollment participants
- Manage student course research and course registration process
- Manage tactical enrollment steps: Student transcript submission and placement test coordination
- Provide ongoing student support such as navigating online institutional platforms, Canvas, and textbook websites
- Advise students on a predetermined schedule to check in on grades, study habits and upcoming assignments/exams
Maintain data fidelity and accurate record keeping for ACT 158 compliance
- Track all student touchpoints in SalesForce/Alumni Database (ABD) and other data platforms
- Maintain an organized archive of artifacts for mandated state reporting
- Use evaluative tools to measure the impact of all dual enrollment programming
- Regularly collaborate cross-team with KIPP Forward staff to ensure program alignment

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience managing special projects and/or school-based programs
- Experience providing college and career readiness programming and counseling
- Knowledge of higher-ed landscape; experience supporting dual-enrollment programs preferred
- Experience planning and executing student facing events and managing relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience helping educationally underserved students and their families navigate application processes, particularly applications for enrichment programs, summer employment opportunities, and post-secondary opportunities
- Understanding of the youth-serving organizations and outside-of-school time opportunities that exist for youth in the Philadelphia area
- Ability to facilitate various size working groups and working collaboratively
- Ability to gather, manage and analyze data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Flexible and able to multi-task within an ambiguous, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Information
Compensation:
• The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 commensurate with experience
